Call for Backup is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to address the issue of suicide awareness and prevention among members of the uniformed services.

The 227 Project was started to honor the memory of Corporal Matthew Edwards (Badge #227) who was killed in the line of duty in the City of Taylor, Michigan on July 23, 2010.
